She trained and perfected the Art of oriental dance in France and Egypt, with various acclaimed local and international  teachers.

She lived in Cairo for many years and  has an extensive experience in the Cairo scene.

. She moved to Cairo at the insistance of Raqia Hassan, who strongly encouraged her to come and work and dance in Egypt.

Once in Cairo, Cherine managed her career on her own, landing a contract at the prestigious 5-star luxury hotel Mena House, where she danced daily with her own orchestra ,during many years.

She has also worked with Raqia Hassan, taking part on several occasions in her educational DVDs on Oriental dance, and was one of the stars of the famous « Ahlan wa Sahlan » international Oriental dance festival.

Cherine is currently based in France. She continues to participate in numerous international dance festivals, where she enjoys exploring the refined art of Oriental dance with her students, whatever their level, during her themed workshops.
She also offers online courses and adapts her lessons to the needs and requests of her students, from beginners to advanced levels. She loves to create personalized choreographies for her students.
Courses are given in English or French.
